As you may have already heard there will be considerable shortage of Christmas trees this year and our farm is no exception. The reasons include the recession of 2008 when for several years new plantings were severely reduced and those are the trees that
would now be coming into a harvestable size. We have been planting trees on our farm since 1999 and have fields of trees of various sizes, however there is not sufficient supply of harvestable size trees in our fields to make it realistic for us to open this year and not end up
disappointing our loyal customers with the product and the experience they have come to expect from our farm.
We expect to reopen next year and in the interim we wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
